a White Christmas in Iowa




My family traveled to my grandma's farm in eastern Iowa on Christmas day. I didn't think we would have a white Christmas since it had been pouring nasty rain up until the day of, but lo and behold windy blizzardy flakes turned into huge gently falling clumps of snow and soon the world looked like this. So I escaped the family and went for a walk.

    All I have is a Canon point and shoot...it's all about the editing! (in microsoft picture manager or windows photo gallery)

    Mmm winter! We didn't get any snow here this year, so these are welcome to me. The red of that building is fabulous.

    Wow. Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH. These pictures are abolutely gorgeous. Hopefully the beauty of them made up for the chilly temps :)
